Workshops

Throughout the year we have an extensive programme of workshops and events focused on developing new skills.

Willow Basket Craft Workshop at Haddon Hall

22 Jun

“The workshop was brilliant! Jo was a lovely teacher and patient, very knowledgeable, and offered different options for us to complete our baskets. I felt it was a very calming workshop. The size of the group was perfect.” – Attendee on 2024 Workshop

This year we are delighted to welcome back Joelle Joanne to Haddon Hall for a full-day Willow Basket Craft Workshop in our Tudor Stable Block Studio. Joelle is an artist who crafts unique items using willow, from sculptures to baskets, weaved out of the branches of this wonderfully versatile plant. She produces not only beautiful works of art but also useful, practical products for the home and garden. Taking inspiration from the landscape of our ancient parkland, Joelle will provide full tuition and all equipment to enable participants to create a willow basket to take home with them.

This event is suitable for everyone over the age of 16. No previous experience is required.

Haddon Hall is a privately-owned estate, and one of the only houses in England to have remained in one family’s ownership for its entire existence. Your support enables us to protect the buildings and precious landscape here for the future.

Please note that admission to Haddon Hall is not included within the price of this event.

Please note that tickets are non-refundable.
