Mercatum Christmas Artisan Market 2024

13 November - 15 December (Wednesdays to Sundays)

Experience the true magic of Christmas at Haddon Hall’s famous Mercatum – the enchanting Artisan Market you just have to tick off your festive bucket list. This year’s event will be bigger and more captivating than ever as Medieval Haddon’s beautifully-decorated courtyards, rooms and galleries play host to over 180 talented artisans and makers, carefully curated to offer the best in luxury Christmas shopping. Enjoy delicious freshly-made street food, hot chocolate and mulled wine from stalls in the cobbled courtyards, while live music makes that cosy festive atmosphere complete.

Mercatum Update - for December 7th 2024

It has been decided by the senior management of Haddon Hall that due to all the UK weather agencies predicting extreme weather conditions tomorrow afternoon in our local area due to Storm Darragh, we have no other option but to cancel the afternoon session of Mercatum for the security and safety of all.

This is obviously a great disappointment for everyone and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. Where possible, we are transferring tickets - please email the team with your booking reference at admin@haddonhall.co.uk, who are working round the clock to transfer your tickets to an available date next week.

We expect to return to normal opening hours for both the morning and afternoon sessions of our Mercatum market on Sunday 8th December.
