Tours

Led by our dedicated and knowledgeable guides, our regular guided tours of the Hall and parkland, are a perfect way to discover the tale of this Medieval and Tudor Hall.

The walls of Haddon Hall are filled with secrets, some of which we are still unearthing to this day.

Haddon Hall’s 900 years of history features countless stories to be told and secrets to be revealed.

Left under lock and key by the family, from the reign of Queen Anne until the 20th Century, the Hall was untouched for 300 years, making it a place of unique historical importance and discovery. Led by our knowledgeable guides, our tours are the perfect way to discover the romantic tale of this fortified Tudor Manor House.

We are fortunate to have a superb team of knowledgeable guides working with us to enhance our visitors’ experience by conducting guided tours of the Hall, the gardens, or both, in which they recite many of the fascinating, romantic and strange tales connected to Haddon Hall.

All visitors to Haddon Hall may take advantage of our free guided ‘Highlights of the Hall’ tour, every Monday of the season, as part of their admission price. Tours run on a first come, first serve basis and last for approximately half an hour.

We are also delighted to offer bespoke guided tours for education and groups. Find more information on our Visit pages, or call our Tour Coordinator on 01629 810912.

Mercatum Update - for December 7th 2024

It has been decided by the senior management of Haddon Hall that due to all the UK weather agencies predicting extreme weather conditions tomorrow afternoon in our local area due to Storm Darragh, we have no other option but to cancel the afternoon session of Mercatum for the security and safety of all.

This is obviously a great disappointment for everyone and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. Where possible, we are transferring tickets - please email the team with your booking reference at admin@haddonhall.co.uk, who are working round the clock to transfer your tickets to an available date next week.

We expect to return to normal opening hours for both the morning and afternoon sessions of our Mercatum market on Sunday 8th December.
