Haddon Hall Admission and Event tickets



When you purchase a ticket on the Haddon Hall website, you agree to the terms and conditions of sale, set out below:

  1. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded and are valid on the date/time specified only. However, if you created an account upon checkout, you may move your General Admission ticket to an alternative date (subject to availability) within the same year for an admin fee of £1.00 per booking. You can do this up to two hours before we open on the date of your visit.
  2. Mercatum Christmas Artisan Market tickets cannot be refunded but can be moved to an alternative date (subject to availability), for an admin fee of £5.00 per booking. If you created an account upon checkout, you can manage your booking yourself, otherwise please contact the office at admin@haddonhall.co.uk. You can do this up to 14 days before the date of your visit.
  3. If the date you wish to exchange your tickets to is sold out, or the event has sold out, you will not be able to move your booking under any circumstances.
  4. Other event and workshop tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded in any circumstances.
  5. Tickets will not be refunded, including in the case of a force majeure such as snow or other extreme weather conditions or a circumstance beyond Haddon’s control. 
  6. In the event of a cancellation or closure, Haddon Hall accepts no responsibility for travel, accommodation and any other associated costs.
  7. When you receive your tickets, they can either be printed or stored on your device electronically. Please keep them in a safe place as we cannot accept duplicates, copies or other alternative tickets of any kind.
  8. All tickets must be presented at the admissions point. They can either be printed, presented via email or as an Apple Wallet ticket. Haddon Hall reserves the right to refuse admission without a valid ticket.
  9. Unlawful resale or attempted unlawful resale of a ticket is grounds for seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.
  10. All prices are correct at the time of publishing. However, they are subject to change without prior notice.
  11. If you purchase a ticket for an event (including a Mercatum market), please ensure you arrive at your allocated time slot. Haddon Hall reserves the right to refuse entry to an event if you arrive late.
  12. Children aged 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult at all attractions and organised events; during a school visit the teacher is in loco parentis. Accompanying adults are responsible for supervising the children in their care at all times.
  13. Visitors are reminded that for technical or operational reasons, some facilities may be removed or closed or entertainment cancelled and/or altered at any time. Haddon Hall reserves the right to change the programme of attractions and entertainment if at any time it is deemed necessary or appropriate to do so.
  14. All attractions will remain open and events will take place whatever the weather, unless weather conditions pose a health and safety risk to our visitors and staff.
  15. Haddon Hall is an inclusive organisation, and we value and respect the diversity of our visitors, communities and our colleagues. Any behaviour towards our colleagues or other visitors which contradicts this will not be tolerated, and visitors will be asked to leave.
  16. Haddon Hall reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to refuse entry or admission or to remove from Haddon Hall any visitor.
  17. Haddon Hall accepts no responsibility for any personal property.
  18. Photography is allowed for non-commercial private use only. The use of drones is not permitted anywhere on the estate.
  19. Only small handbags are allowed into the house.
  20. We cannot allow prams or pushchairs into the house. We do not provide baby carriers but visitors are welcome to bring their own to use on-site.
  21. Haddon Hall reserves the right to search the bag(s) or pushchairs of any visitor entering Haddon Hall, the Restaurant, its Gardens or surrounding grounds, or any other event being held on the Haddon Hall Estate. Failure to comply with a request for such a search may result in the entry being refused.
  22. As a condition of sale, visitors to Haddon Hall or Haddon Estate consent to being photographed, filmed or sound recorded for use on TV, websites, social media, DVD, webcast, promotional materials, or other public mediums, as part of the audience, or by security CCTV.
  23. For General Admission, visitors with disabilities may bring one accompanying essential carer free of charge when paying for a full-price General Admission ticket. Supporting documents are required at the Ticket Office upon admission. The following documents are acceptable as proof of eligibility: 
  • Proof of Disability Living Allowance
  • Proof of Attendance Allowance
  • CredAbility Access Card with +1 symbol
  • Blind Person’s Registration
  • PIP Letter

Please note, this does not apply to any events (including our Mercatum Christmas Artisan Market).

  1. Carers wishing to participate in courses and workshops are required to purchase a full-price ticket.
