The Restaurant

Our restaurant is situated in the 17th Century stable block adjacent to the Hall and provides wonderful views of the Hall and river.

With an extensive menu, our restaurant offers something for everyone; a freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, traditional Afternoon Tea or a simple and relaxing cup of freshly-ground coffee accompanied by a tempting treat from the cake counter.

The restaurant caters for a wide range of dietary requirements, with each menu using local seasonal produce carefully prepared by Head Chef Dean and his marvellous team.

Opening Times

The Restaurant is currently closed until we reopen for our 2025 season on Saturday 29th March.

Haddon Restaurant will be open daily serving from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm for our 2025 Spring/Summer season on the following dates:

29th March – 30th May

Closed 31st May – 1st June

2nd June – 31st August

Group Bookings

Enhance your group visit to Haddon by including a delicious lunch or tea into your day in our bright and airy restaurant in the Tudor Stable block.

Our pre-bookable menu is ideal for coach parties and organized group bookings of 12 or more people, and is available Monday to Saturday.  It offers a range of choices including breakfast; coffee and cake; a two course lunch; and Afternoon Tea.

If you wish a table can be reserved for your group and our cheerful waitress service will see to your every need.

Please note, the restaurant does not offer bookings during the Mercatum Christmas Artisan Market. We only offer a walk-in service.

Afternoon Tea

Served in the traditional manner, our Afternoon Tea completes a visit to Haddon or makes a perfect gift.

Served with a freshly brewed pot of tea or filter coffee, treat yourself to a beautifully presented array of fresh finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and cream, and mouthwatering home-made cakes.

£22.65 per person served with Prosecco

Please note that pre-booking a minimum of 24 hours ahead is usually essential, but do ask for availability on the day.

The restaurant does not offer Afternoon Tea during the Mercatum Christmas Artisan Market.

Christmas

During Christmas at Haddon Hall in December, the restaurant serves a wonderful seasonal menu.  Our chef, Dean Torr, prepares a selection of  delicious festive dishes which you can view on our Christmas 2025 menu which will be coming very soon. Our lunch bookings can be very popular, so if do you wish to have lunch, booking is highly recommended.
