Brand new for 2025, we are delighted to welcome Sophia from Function and Form to lead a brush-making workshop in the Tudor Stables Studio at Haddon Hall.
During this half-day heritage craft workshop, you will learn the art of gathering and binding your own turkey-wing brush, created from natural tampico bristles, perfect for sweeping dust and light debris. Tampico is a low-resource natural fibre that allows for gentle but effective cleaning with no damage or scratching of surfaces. These brushes are designed to be items of simple beauty, made to last for generations, objects not just to admire but to be used every day as part of our lives.
This workshop is suitable for everyone over the age of 16. No previous experience is required.
Your ticket includes half-price admission to Haddon Hall and its beautiful gardens on the same day.
Haddon Hall is a privately-owned estate, and one of the only houses in England to have remained in one family’s ownership for its entire existence. Your support enables us to protect the buildings and precious landscape here for the future.
Please note that tickets are non-refundable.
