Brand new for 2026, we are delighted to welcome artist Diana Green to Haddon for a very special art workshop, creating paint and ink from entirely natural, foraged materials, including plants, rocks and earth. Diana paints powerful portraits that create a connection between the artist, trees and the land, through the use of natural pigments gathered and processed into paint and inks.
Your day starts with a relaxing walk in the peaceful landscape of Haddon Medieval Park to gather plants and natural materials for pigment making, followed by demonstrations on turning pigments into paints in our Tudor Stables Studio. In the afternoon you will make your own paints to take home, and produce charts and records of all colours made during the day.
This event is suitable for everyone over the age of 18. No experience is necessary, and all tuition, materials and equipment will be provided. This event includes a short walk on uneven ground, so a reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required.
Please note that admission to Haddon Hall is not included within the price of this event.
Sorry, tickets are non-refundable.
