Throughout the year we have an extensive programme of workshops and events focused on developing new skills.

SOLD OUT Autumn Broom Making Workshop

4 Oct
Brand new for 2025, we are delighted to present a very special event for the autumnal season, combining ancient craft with natural beauty.

Under the expert guidance of Sophia from Function and Form, join us at Haddon Hall for a half-day workshop to make a traditional witch’s broom interlaced with dried flowers and herbs. Decorative and practical, made from natural broomcorn with a hazel handle, this is an object to be admired and used for many years to come.

This workshop is suitable for everyone over the age of 16. All tuition, equipment and materials are provided. No previous experience is required.

Your ticket includes half-price admission to Haddon Hall and its beautiful gardens on the same day.

Note, this is a half-day workshop with sessions at 10.30am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-4.30pm. Please select your preferred time slot when booking.

Haddon Hall is a privately-owned estate, and one of the only houses in England to have remained in one family’s ownership for its entire existence. Your support enables us to protect the buildings and precious landscape here for the future.

Please note that tickets are non-refundable.
