Guided Walks on Haddon Estate

Join one of our knowledgeable guides on a walk through Haddon's ancient parkland and organic farmland.  Learn about our river, our ancient trees, and the history of the area.  You may meet our Longhorn cattle and rare breed sheep along the way.  There is often a plethora of wildlife to see.  You will even get a chance to examine our ancient anthills and discover bats through the vents into the underground railway line!

As the walk is not on footpaths, sturdy shoes are a necessity as well as warm, walking attire.  The walk is not particularly arduous, and is kept at a relaxed pace with regular breathers and plenty of opportunity to discuss the area.  Some of the route can be muddy and there is a steep descent which should be considered when booking. 

Setting off from the front of the Stable Block at 10:30am, the walks take about 2 hours but cover only a distance of about 2 miles! (Please note, there is a £3:00 parking charge). Booking is essential, please follow the link below:
