“All of us really enjoyed it. I thought we knew a lot but our guide taught us a whole lot more. The grandkids (5 and 8) had fun and were interested in it all. A big thank you for a lovely morning. Well worth doing.” – Attendee on 2024 Little School of Ecology
At Haddon we are passionate about encouraging the next generation to appreciate and care for nature, so we are delighted to announce the return of our very popular Little School of Ecology in the beautiful, historic parkland that surrounds Haddon Hall. Children aged 5-11 can have fun and enjoy the simple pleasures of being outside in nature, learning basic identification of trees, flowers, birds and insects, as well as discovering different habitats.
Sorry, we cannot allow admission for unaccompanied children. Maximum of three children per adult please. Please note that adults are responsible for the safety of the children they are accompanying on this walk.
Haddon Hall is a privately-owned estate, and one of the only houses in England to have remained in one family’s ownership for its entire existence. Your support enables us to protect the buildings and precious landscape here for the future.
Please note that adult admission to Haddon Hall is not included within the price of this event, but children’s admission to Haddon Hall (15 and under) is free. Every Tuesday we also offer free children’s tours within the hall and archery sessions (for a small fee) within the parkland, making a great day out for the whole family!
Please note that tickets are non-refundable.
