The Derbyshire River Wye: A Talk by Christine Gregory

10 May

The Derbyshire River Wye: A presentation by naturalist Christine Gregory

Brand new for 2026, we are delighted to welcome author and naturalist Christine Gregory to Haddon for a presentation on the Derbyshire River Wye. Christine is the author of four books about the Derbyshire countryside, which reflect her love of the area through almost 4 decades living here. This presentation, which is illustrated by Christine’s beautiful photographs, explores the wildlife of the Peak District, with particular attention to the remarkable Wye: its biodiversity, geology, ecology, history and the life it supports. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

Perfect for those who want to learn more about Haddon Medieval Park and its river life, relax for 90 minutes in our historic Tudor Stables Studio and allow Christine to bring the countryside to you!

Please note that admission to Haddon Hall is not included within the price of this event.
