Brand new for 2026, we are delighted to announce our archivist, Margie Burnet, will be giving a presentation and tour on the 9th Duke’s Restoration of Haddon Hall.
This thirty-minute presentation in our Tudor Stables Studio contains exclusive photography unseen by the public, and will provide a brief history of the Hall and the Manners’ absence for 200 years, which makes Haddon “the most perfect house to survive the Middle Ages”. You will learn more about the 9th Duke’s restoration of the Hall, starting in the 1920’s, using exclusive extracts from his journals.
You will then join Margie on an hour’s tour throughout the Hall and gardens, where you will discover the extent of the 9th Duke’s dedicated work. You will have the opportunity to ask Margie questions before having half an hour to explore the Hall yourself and immerse yourself in its unique charm.
Our delightful restaurant will be open after your event if you wish to visit for a fresh-baked treat and tea or coffee (this is not included in your ticket price).
Please note that tickets are non-refundable for this event. Parking charge is not included in the event and is £4.40 per vehicle.
