Joelle Joanne is an artist who crafts unique items using willow, from sculptures to baskets, weaved from the branches of this wonderfully versatile plant.  She produces not only beautiful works of art but also useful, practical products for the home and garden.

New for 2024, we are delighted to welcome Joelle to Haddon Medieval Park to lead a short day of willow Basket Crafting in our Tudor Stables workshop, taking inspiration from the landscape of our ancient parkland.  With full tuition and all equipment provided, participants will be able to create a light flower -collecting basket to take home with them.

This event is suitable for everyone over the age of 14.  No previous experience is required.

Free tea and coffee making facilities are available within the Workshop.  Haddon Hall’s award-winning Restaurant, selling a wide variety of snacks, drinks and main meals, is located very close by, or you are welcome to bring your own lunch to eat within the Workshop area.
