“It’s such a pleasure to hear music being performed at Haddon. We hope these occasional and varied performances by these very fine musicians will continue to bring much enjoyment to visitors this year and will continue to enhance Haddon's reputation as a delightful setting for music.” - Lady Edward Manners

Christmas Music at Haddon – Dronfield Handbell Ringers

17 Dec

Performances at 12.00 and 2.00 pm to enjoy as you wander around the Hall.

Included with your admission.

The Dronfield Handbell Ringers have been making music on handbells for over 40 years, ringing a 3 octave set of bells cast by Shaw of Bradford around 1900.  Their repertoire covers all styles of music from medieval to Bach, Beethoven and Chopin, through the music of the swing era to jazz and modern original compositions.  Most of the music, including much of the Christmas themed items, has been specially arranged for the group by Vic Cox, the team’s musical director and founder.
