Lt Col Tim Spicer OBE has led a life filled with action and adventure. During his twenty years in the British Army, he saw active service in Northern Ireland, the Falklands Campaign, the Gulf War and the Balkans, as well as serving in the Far East, Cyprus and Germany. He is also the bestselling author of a number of books, including ‘An Unorthodox Soldier: Peace and War and the Sandline Affair’ (2000) and ‘A Dangerous Enterprise’ (2021).
Anthony Tucker-Jones is a British former defence intelligence officer and a widely published military expert on regional conflicts, counter-terrorism and armoured and aerial warfare.
To celebrate the paperback launch of Lt Col Spicer’s brand new book, ‘A Suspicion of Spies’, we are delighted to welcome him to Haddon Hall. The evening begins with drinks in the beautiful garden, after which you are invited to join us in the Long Gallery as Spicer discusses his life, career and his new book.
