With the opening of our Medieval Park, we are able to offer a fresh and exciting addition to our existing Learning Programme offering cross curricular sessions exploring living history, geography, science, design and technology and the creative arts, to meet your objectives.
Foundation Stage 2/Reception sessions will facilitate the development of gross and fine motor skills and creativity with natural materials in our natural landscape, allowing teachers and pupils access to our Medieval Park in a safe and controlled setting. We can also offer creative activities encompassing many areas of the EYFS curriculum.
KS 1-2 – Natural history, geography, DT, science and art sessions offer students the chance to develop personal and practical skills and the discovery of relationships within an ecosystem whilst exploring our Medieval Park and immersing themselves in a number of practical outdoor activities.
KS 3-4 – In-depth history, geography and scientific programmes will enable students to develop their historical knowledge of Britain’s agricultural, industrial and cultural heritage with a scientific approach to the landscape. Opportunities for exploring other areas of the curriculum can be supported and offered through outdoor activities and exploration of the site.
