Accompanied by one of our knowledgeable guides, discover the secrets behind our beautiful Elizabethan walled Gardens.  Discover how the gardens have evolved over the centuries; hear of the historic uses of the plants that now grow in the Knot Garden and Bowling Terrace borders; discover the treasures of the Medieval flowery mead and learn how to recreate the spirit of Haddon in your own home using some of our favourite plants.

Tours last approximately 1.5 hours and are available for groups of up to 10 people.

Mercatum Update - for December 7th 2024

It has been decided by the senior management of Haddon Hall that due to all the UK weather agencies predicting extreme weather conditions tomorrow afternoon in our local area due to Storm Darragh, we have no other option but to cancel the afternoon session of Mercatum for the security and safety of all.

This is obviously a great disappointment for everyone and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. Where possible, we are transferring tickets - please email the team with your booking reference at admin@haddonhall.co.uk, who are working round the clock to transfer your tickets to an available date next week.

We expect to return to normal opening hours for both the morning and afternoon sessions of our Mercatum market on Sunday 8th December.
