Morning – Breakfast with Santa at Matlock Farm
Everyone needs a good breakfast to prepare for a full day of festivities, and Santa Claus is no exception. Begin your day at Matlock Farm for a special breakfast with Santa, followed by a special visit to his Christmas grotto, where each child will receive a gift. Wander the farm at your leisure, before travelling to Haddon Hall for an afternoon of festive craft.

Afternoon – Children’s Craft at Haddon Hall
This year, creativity lies at the heart of our Christmas celebrations. Watch your child’s eyes light up with inspiration as they explore Haddon Hall in all its festive glory, followed by our
special Children’s Crafts sessions, taking place on the 1st, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd December.
Members of the Haddon educational team shall be found in the medieval kitchens with all sorts of lovely traditional craft ideas and activities for children to make and do. Children under 16 enter Haddon Hall for free, and all are welcome to enjoy a heartwarming Christmas lunch in our stableblock restaurant, with last orders at 3pm.
Evening – Peak District Pantomimes
If your festive spirit isn’t quite at its limit, round off the day with a traditional pantomime, or something a little different. Explore a range of Christmas performances below, or find a show near you at www.bigpantoguide.co.uk.
