Tuesday 17th December

Music and Demonstrations held throughout the day
All included in your admission price
10:30 – 4:00pm

On our seventeenth day of Christmas at Haddon, 17th December, the Chameleon Choir from Ashbourne will be coming to sing lovely traditional carols and other contemporary seasonal music in the beautifully decorated Banqueting Hall.

Carol Hickman, florist, shall be demonstrating how to make all sorts of wonderful floral designs to decorate your table and home. Whilst, Kindred and Kind, florists, will be demonstrating how to make beautiful Scandinavian wreaths using wild winter foliage, eucalyptus, rosemary and pine, with fir cones and seed heads. The wreaths are minimalistic and Scandinavian inspired: perfect to hang on walls and doors.

And in the medieval kitchens, Lydia Waters, professional cake decorator, of Lydia’s Perfectly Cakes, will be giving a joyous demonstration on how to decorate Christmas cakes, biscuits, Yule logs and cup cakes.

Our restaurant shall be serving delicious festive meals and the Pop Up Gardener’s Cottage Café will be available for teas, coffee, hot chocolate and cakes!

We look forward to you joining us for this fun filled, inspiring day and hope that you will sign your name on our Christmas card to the Queen, which will be found in the Long Gallery.
