10:30 – 4:00pm

On our eleventh day of Christmas at Haddon, 11th December, Quadravox , a vibrant quartet of three trained voices and piano will be performing in the Banqueting Hall.

Emma Parkins, willow artist, will be demonstrating her beautiful craft, including how to make lovely traditional decorations, such as willow stars for your tree.

Sally Smith, florist, will be showing us how to make natural organic wreaths from hedgerow and garden materials, including seed heads, berries and evergreens. We are greatly looking forward to learning how to construct a ring from willow, birch or hazel and how to decorate it to create a delightful decoration for the festive season.

Members of the Derbyshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers will demonstrate ways to use wool to create lovely simple makes and if you have never tried before, you can even have a go at weaving a small decorative piece yourself.

Our restaurant shall be serving delicious festive meals and the Pop Up Gardener’s Cottage Café will be available for teas, coffee, hot chocolate and cakes!

We look forward to you joining us for this fun filled, inspiring day and hope that you will sign your name on our Christmas card to the Queen, which will be found in the Long Gallery.
