Rachel studied at the Royal Northern College of Music where she won a number of awards and was a finalist in the Elizabeth Harwood Memorial Prize in 2020 adjudicated by Dame Ann Murray and Sarah Tynan.  Rachel’s recent engagements include the role of Maria Bertram in Jonathan Dove’s Mansfield Park, Mahler’s  2nd Symphony with the Opera North Chorus, and Brahms Requiem with Leeds Philarmonic.  Today Rachel will sing two recitals of her favourite songs and arias, including works by Debussy, Strauss, Puccini and Ivor Novello.
