Afternoon Tea and Candlelight Tour

21 Dec, 22 Dec, 28 Dec

This year we are offering one date in the interval between Christmas and New Year – a perfect choice if you have guests staying!

Afternoon Tea served from 4.00 pm in the Restaurant followed by a tour of the Hall at 5.00 pm.

You are welcome to arrive from 3.50 pm to allow time to park, cross the A6 to the Hall entrance  in the beech hedge, and make your way up the driveway (approx 366 metres) to the Restaurant located up the steps on the top floor of the Stable Block.  Please dress warmly for your tour.

Places are limited and booking is essential and we regret that tickets cannot be refunded.

£49.95 per person (For a small additional charge it is possible to order Prosecco to accompany your afternoon tea – to arrange this please simply ask on arrival)

Access
Due to the age and nature of Haddon Hall access for visitors with restricted mobility, including wheel chair users, is very challenging with many uneven floors and steps without handrails.  We wish to avoid visitors being disappointed to find that they cannot access the Hall, so if you are in any doubt please do read our more detailed Accessibility Statement or ring the Estate Office on 01629 812855 before you visit.

This year we are once again offering our very popular option of a delicious Afternoon Tea in our Restaurant before enjoying the delights of a magical Candlelight Tour in the enchanting decorated rooms of the Hall.  Our chef, Dean, will prepare you a feast to make your mouth water, with savoury and sweet treats served with a pot of fine tea or coffee.  Afterwards, make your way to the Banqueting Hall where your guide will greet you in front of the glowing fire before embarking on your tour through the beautifully decorated rooms whilst sharing with you anecdotes from the history of the Hall and its family, and of bygone traditions of the season.  We can’t think of a finer way to set the scene for Christmas.
