Out of all the place I have visited in the world, I have found Haddon to be the most beautiful and delightful. The delicious scones in Haddon's restaurant are the best I have had anywhere. The grounds are so magical I can almost imagine the days when my ancestors rode across them, armor and swords clanking and horses everywhere, as they rode off to fight wherever needed. Haddon has managed to give a magnificent glimpse into the past while still retaining all its charm. Thank you for such a delight.

Visited Saturday May 23rd especially for the Tudor Group visit. Wonderful day, the Hall really came to life and the Group Members were so friendly and full of knowledge of the era they were portraying. More of the same please, sad I was unable to visit the events last year. The Restaurant was excellent too.

Absolutely stunning! Standing in the gardens looking at the spectacular views you can lose yourself and feel a million miles away from the City hustle and bustle!
Explore every nook and cranny because there's a story in every room, we can't wait to come back for events and to take a longer walk around the grounds.

A completely delightful day out x

This hall is quite remarkable and unspoilt and the staff did a fantastic job of the Xmas decorations. Will come again in the summer.

A delightful and informative visit. Gardens beautiful even in the rain! Very helpful staff.

A visit to Haddon Hall is like a pilgrimage for me. There is something unique here, and each moment is treasured and held, until the next visit.Thank you for looking after a very beautiful place.

Haddon Hall is beautiful and I have been fortunate to have been able to visit it twice in the past 3 years. I am a direct decendant of Richard De Vernon. My ancestors migrated to America in 1682 and settled in Virginia.

Take care of the old homestead. I hope to return with my family to see it again before too long.

Haddon Hall is my most favourite place in Derbyshire. I can imagine living in the house, and the garden is just wonderful.

We love it here. Been Before and will come again. Historic England at its best!

A lovely way to spend my birthday in such a beautiful place.

I would rate this in the top 3 or 4 architectural experiences of my life!

Stunning house and surroundings. My Jane Eyre pilgrimage.

Wonderful place, so lovely to walk round, then the scone, jam and cream - yummy yummy!

A really lovely day. Perfect weather. Perfectly English...

A step back in time. Wonderful experience. Much thanks for everyone's help with my elderly mum.

The house is beautiful, I like the food and gift shop.
