| THE APPROACH
Taken from the bridge over the River Wye, this panorama shows the Gardener's Cottage with its clipped topiaries of a Peacock and a Boar's head which are respectively the arms of the Manners and Vernon families.
Adjacent to it are the Elizabethan stables which were the kitchens for the Hall in the 1920s and 30s and now house our Restaurant. From here you can see the North-West Tower of the Hall built in the early 16th century and to the far right the Chapel which dates from the 12th Century. |
