| Haddon Hall has been a popular location for feature films (e.g. Pride and Prejudice (2005), Elizabeth, (1999), Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996)); TV (The BBC's production of The Prince and the Pauper; Granada Television's Moll Flanders;
BBC 2006 production of Jane Eyre with Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens); and a number of photo shoots for advertising and editorial work. We also own and operate the award winning hotel, The Peacock at Rowsley, which has proved invaluable for accommodating cast and crew. September 2011 saw the release of the new film version of ‘Jane Eyre’, directed by Cary Fukunaga and starring Mia Wasikowska, Michael Fassbender, Jamie Bell, and Dame Judi Dench. It features Haddon Hall as the perfect location for Thornfield. |
